これらのテンプレートは、表中で適切な背景色付テキストが入ったセル作成用に使うよう設計されています。これらは一般的に比較表（オフィススイートの比較など）の中で使われます。

例えば、{{Yes}}は緑の背景色をもつセルを生成し、引数からセル中のテキスト（デフォルト値は"Yes"）を受け取ります。

もし、引数を受け取らない表セルテンプレートを見つけ、セル中のテキストを変更できるようにしたい場合、テンプレートを複製せず、そのテンプレートを編集してテキストをデフォルト値の代用として置き換えるようにしてください。例えば、テンプレートのテキストがDroppedであれば, {{{1|Dropped}}}へと変更してください。
